The cultural landscape of the capital witnessed a grand Sharad Kavyotsav Kavi Sammelan organized on the auspicious occasion of Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti and Sharad Purnima. The event took place on Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Surghat, located near the Wazirabad Bridge in Timarpur, Delhi. This prestigious Samaroh was hosted by Sanskar Bharti Delhi and featured a stellar lineup of Amantrit Kavigan.
The evening was graced by the presence of legendary poets, including Dr. Kunwar Bechain and Shri Jagbeer Rathi. The Sanchalan of the program was expertly handled by Shri Chirag Jain. During the ceremony, the ‘Poo. Guru Golwalkar Kavya Puraskar’ was awarded to Shri Rajesh Chetan, while the ‘Shri Gopal Krishna Arora Smriti Samman’ was presented to the internationally acclaimed Kathak dancer Sushri Nalini Kamlini.
