On the auspicious occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the Hindi Academy, Delhi (Department of Art, Culture and Language, Govt. of Delhi) is organizing a grand Rashtriya Kavi Sammelan in Delhi. The Samaroh is scheduled for Thursday, 1 October 2015, at 6:00 PM at Vivekananda Mahila College, Vivek Vihar, Delhi. The event will be inaugurated by Shri Ram Niwas Goel, Speaker of the Delhi Vidhan Sabha, with Shri Kapil Mishra, Minister of Art, Culture and Language, serving as the Chief Guest.
The gathering will feature legendary literary figures including Dr. Kunwar Bechain and Shri Chirag Jain. Other invited poets include Shri Atul Kanak, Shri Kamlesh Sharma, Ms. Kavita Tiwari, Shri Dinesh Bawra, and Shri Nishamuni Gaud. The program will also be graced by the presence of Ms. Maitreyi Pushpa, Vice Chairperson of Hindi Academy, and Dr. Majid Deobandi, Vice Chairman of Urdu Academy.
