The Smt. Shantaben Haribhai Gajera Charitable Trust (since 1993) has officially announced a grand Akhil Bhartiya Hasya Kavi Sammelan in Surat. This cultural event is scheduled to take place at the Sardar Patel Smriti Bhavan, Varachha Road on Saturday, 17 January 2026. The evening promises a blend of satire and melody, featuring renowned poets from across India.
The stage will be graced by Anil Agravanshi (Delhi) known for his Hasya Ras, and Sonal Jain (Surat), who will lead the event as the Sanchalika presenting Shringar Ras. Joining them are Saurabh ‘Suman’ (Meerut) specializing in Hasya and Veer Ras, Dr. Aditya Jain (Kota) famous for his Hasya Ras Parody, and Kushal Kushalendra (Noida). The Samaroh is set to begin at 08:30 PM, inviting all poetry enthusiasts to witness this spectacular gathering.
