The Mithila Chitrakala Sansthan Kavi Sammelan Madhubani is being organized as a highlight of the 11th Sthapana Diwas-2026. This two-day cultural Samaroh, presented by the Department of Art and Culture, Government of Bihar, Patna, is scheduled for April 22 and 23, 2026. The prestigious venue for this celebration is the Mithila Chitrakala Sansthan, Saurath, Madhubani. The Kavi Sammelan segment, scheduled for the evening of April 23, features a stellar lineup of artists. The stage will be graced by the renowned Hasya poet Shri Shambhu Shikhar and the famous lyricist Shri Vikas Baukhala. They will be joined by the prominent Veer Ras poet Shri Priyanshu Gajendra and Shri Kamal Aagney. The program also includes a vocal performance by the famous folk singer Smt. Bandana Mishra and a dance presentation by the Nritya Srishti Foundation, Darbhanga. On the preceding day, April 22, the Samaroh will feature Padma Shri Malini Awasthi, Mithila Ratna Shri Kunj Bihari Mishra, and Smt. Poonam Mishra. The event,

supervised by the Art and Culture Department of the Bihar Government, aims to promote the rich heritage of Mithila through competition in Rangoli, speech, and folk singing.
