The city of Chennai is set to host a spectacular evening of laughter and literature with the upcoming Hasya-2 Kavi Sammelan. Organized by Chandan Tilak and Govindam Premium Dairy Desserts, this event promises to be an unmatched gathering of wit and satire. The Hasya session will feature the renowned Arun Gemini, known for his “Gudgudata Hasya,” alongside the melodious Dr. Sarita Sharma, the “Geet-Ghazal ki Sarita.” The Samaroh will also include performances by Anil Agravanshi, who is set to bring a “Hasya ki Bauchar,” and Parth Naveen, a specialist in Hasya Parody. The entire event will be under the Sanchalan of Govind Mūndra. The program is scheduled for Sunday, 11 January 2026, at the Chinmaya Heritage Centre. The evening will begin with refreshments (Jalpan) followed by the main poetic session.
