The Akhil Bhartiya Sahitya Utthan Parishad organized a unique Hasya Kavi Sammelan Tihar Jail on October 5, 2021. The event brought a wave of laughter and literary relief to the premises of Tihar Jail. Prominent poets such as Mahendra Sharma, known for Hasya Vyangya, and Manisha Shukla, who captivated the audience with Geet/Ghazal, were the highlights of the evening. The gathering also featured versatile performances from Vipin Malihabadi (Hasya), Namita Naman (Shringar), Sumit Dilkash (Shayar), Vineet Pandey (Hasya), and Shweta Srivastava (Shringar). The entire Sanchalan and coordination of this Samaroh were expertly handled by Neer Gorakhpuri, who served as the Sanyojak and Sanchalak. This initiative by the Akhil Bhartiya Sahitya Utthan Parishad aimed to promote literary upliftment through the medium of poetry.
