IIT Kharagpur recently hosted a grand Hindi Diwas Kavi Sammelan to celebrate the linguistic heritage of India. Organized by the Rajbhasha Vibhag (Department of Official Language) of the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in collaboration with the Nagar Rajbhasha Karvanyan Samiti, the event saw a packed audience at the prestigious Netaji Auditorium. The evening was a highlight of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, bringing together students, faculty, and the local community for a night of literary brilliance. The stage was graced by a stellar lineup of poets, including the renowned Sudeep Bhola, whose sharp wit and satire captivated the crowd. Joining him was Manisha Shukla, who brought a touch of lyrical grace to the Samaroh. Other prominent performers included the young and energetic Utkarsh Agnihotri and the soulful Azhar Iqbal.
