Rotary District 3054 recently organized a vibrant Hasya Hungama as part of its District Conference, titled Sampravah. This unique event was held in a Virtual – 3D Hybrid Model from June 25th to 27th, 2021. The Kavi Sammelan session, which took place on Friday, 25th June, was sponsored by the Rotary Club Jaipur Citizen and began at 8:30 PM onwards. The gathering served as a significant cultural highlight of the conference, bringing together members from across the district.
The Samaroh featured an elite lineup of poets, including the melodic Vishnu Saxena and the celebrated Mumtaz Naseem. Other invited poets who graced the digital stage were Arun Jaimini and Chirag Jain. The host for the evening was Rotary Club Kota (the DG’s Home Club), with key leadership roles held by District Governor Rajesh Agarwal, President Pramod Jain, Secretary Sandeep Jain, and Program Coordinator Sudhir Jain. Other notable officials involved included Chief Advisor PDG CM Birla, District Secretary General Dr. Vikrant Mathur, Conference Chairman Manu Paliwal, and Host Club President B.L. Gupta.
The venue for this gathering is the Navrang Sanskritik Evam Khel Parisar in Koteshwar, Uttarakhand. Joining the headliners are celebrated poets Govind Rathi, Manisha Shukla, and Hemant Pandey, ensuring a diverse range of poetic expressions. Organized by THDC India Limited, this Kavi Sammelan serves as a major cultural highlight for the Koteshwar region.
The main Sammelan is scheduled for Falgun 26 (Thursday) at Jain Bhawan, Biratnagar, starting at 6:09 PM. Additionally, the traditional “Albela Barat” program will take place on March 10 (Friday), departing from Bohra Gola Traffic Chowk at 5:55 PM, with the Barat welcome hosted at Golchha House, Main Road, Biratnagar.
The event will be hosted at the prestigious Govindram Tibrewal Sabhagar, Dinod Gate, providing a grand stage for literary excellence. Organized by the local Agrawal community, the evening promises to be a vibrant gathering of poets and literature enthusiasts.
