Surat, Gujarat: A grand cultural Samaroh titled “The Mushaira Collective” is set to take place in Surat, organized by ‘adbi duniya’ and ‘The Alphabet Soup’. This Samaroh, held in memory of Qasim Khurshid, brought together a galaxy of esteemed literary figures at the Patna Sangrahalaya on Buddha Marg. The event featured profound recitations by noted personalities including Khurshid Akbar and Prerna Pratap, who captivated the audience with their lyrical brilliance.

The lineup for this prestigious Mushaira included a diverse group of poets: Sanjay Kumar Kundan, Sunil Kumar Tang, Astitva Ankur, Zeenat Sheikh, Kazim Raza, Ankit Maurya, Sanya Ray, and Sameer Parimal. This grand literary Samaroh took place on 28th December 2025, starting at 2:30 PM. Attendees gathered at the historic Patna Museum venue to celebrate the rich tradition of Urdu and Hindi poetry in an afternoon dedicated to the memory of late Qasim Khurshid.

The Natarang Kala Trust is set to present Khwabon Ki Kashti Play, a soul-stirring biographical drama based on the life of India’s Missile Man, APJ Abdul Kalam. The performance will be held at the prestigious Alliance Française de Delhi, located in Lodhi Estate, New Delhi. Directed by Chinmay Das and adapted for the stage by Vairagi, this play aims to capture the inspiring journey of Kalam from his humble beginnings to becoming the President of India.

The solo performance by Nishchay Upadhyay promises to bring to life the various stages of Kalam’s life depicted in the poster’s collage—from his childhood days to his time with the armed forces. This Samaroh of theater and history is scheduled for the afternoon of 11th January 2026. The literary circles of Delhi are set to witness a soul-stirring Kavi Goshthi organized under the divine inspiration and presence of Param Pujya Gurudevs. The event is scheduled to take place at Shri Jain Sthanak Bhawan, Sector-7, Rohini, Delhi. This spiritual and poetic gathering is being held under the holy guidance of Bahushrut Gurudev Shri Jay Muni Ji M. Sa. and Guru Hanumant Shri Aadish Muni Ji M. Sa. (Aadi Thane-5).

A major highlight of the festival is the Shabd Rang session, a poetic symposium featuring legendary voices such as Farhat Ehsas, Govind Gulshan, and Khushbir Singh Shaad. This edition pays a special 228th birth anniversary tribute to Mirza Ghalib and celebrates the centenary of Bhupen Hazarika.
