The “Vivaah Ke Sang” celebrations in Borivali (West), Mumbai, will host a grand Hasya Kavi Sammelan on Thursday, February 19, 2026. The Samaroh is scheduled to begin from 7:00 PM onwards, promising an evening filled with wit and literary charm. This event is being invited by Shri Prabhakar Shukla.
The Kavi Sammelan features a distinguished lineup of poets, including Shri Suresh Mishra, who will also lead the Sanchalan of the stage. He is joined by the popular “Laughter Champion” fame Shri Sunil Sawara, along with Dr. Raj Bundeli and Dr. Mridul Tiwari. The performances will cover various genres, from Hasya to the patriotic fervor of Oaj and the melodic beauty of Geet.
The event features an elite lineup of invited poets, including the famous Aman Akshar (Indore) and Shradha Shaurya (Nagpur). Joining them are Abhay Singh Nirbhik (Lucknow), Amit Shukla (Rewa), Kamta Makhan (Satna), Lavlesh Yaduvanshi (Pratapgarh), Vaibhav Awasthi (Varanasi), and Amit Kumar Yash (Bulandshahr). The Sanchalan of the stage will be handled by Rana Muni Pratap. This cultural gathering is coordinated by Shriprakash Pateria Ji (Charan Sevak).
The festival opened on February 15 with Lokgayan by Rishi Vishwakarma and a vibrant Badhai, Baredi Loknrutya by Umesh Namdev, followed by soul-stirring Bhakti Gayan by Lakhbir Singh Lakkha and team. The second day showcased Shila Tripathi’s folk singing and a Shiv Mahima Nritya Natika by Aakriti Jain, concluding with Sugam Sangeet by the renowned Mahalakshmi Iyer. The concluding day featured folk artist Balram Purohit alongside the grand Kavi Sammelan which included poets like Gajendra Solanki, Dinesh Bawra, Poonam Verma, Ruchi Chaturvedi, and Manu Vaishali.
The inaugural session featured esteemed thinkers and vaktagan including Shri Vardhan Ji (Thinker & Yoga Trainer) and Dr. Vineet Chauhan (International Poet, Veer Ras). Other prominent personalities in attendance were Shri Hiren Joshi (Media Advisor to CM Rajasthan), Shri Ankit Awasthi, and Dr. Indu Shekhar.
The event will feature a lineup of celebrated poets, including the renowned Dr. Praveen Shukla and P K Azad. The Kavi Sammelan is held under the guidance of Patron Prof. Saloni Gupta (Principal) and TIC Ms. Jaya Yadav. The student leadership is represented by President Jansi. The evening will be graced by a stellar cast of poets including the renowned Nilotpal Mrinal and the soulful Azhar Iqbal. Prominent poets invited to grace the stage include the renowned Gaurav Chauhan and Iti Shivhare. They will be joined by other distinguished voices such as Ajay ‘Anjam’, Nirmal Pandey, Dheeraj Chandan, Hemant Pandey, and Akhilesh Dwivedi. This gathering serves as a significant cultural tribute, blending poetic excellence with local heritage in Budhadana.
The gathering features an extensive lineup of celebrated poets including Ibal Ashhar, Azm Shakiri, Shahid Anjum, Dilshad Nazmi, Azhar Iqbal, Altamash Abbas, Kashif Raza, Khalid Akhlaq, Anas Faizi, Dr. Syed Nzam Iqbal, Umar Izhar, Zubair Ahmad, Tasleem Aarif, Malik Rizwan Faani, Reshma Zaidi, Dr. Sonia Sonam Aks, Gayatari Mehta, Zareen Siddique, Himanshi Babra, Shariqa Malik, and Elma Hashmi. The event is honored to have Shri Om Birla, the Honorable Speaker of the Lok Sabha, as the Chief Guest. The Sutradhar for the evening will be Bhupendra Rathore from Kota. The stage will feature a distinguished assembly of invited poets, including Rajkumar Badal (Bhilwara), Govind Hankla (Khatoli), Dr. Shubham Tyagi (Meerut, U.P.), and Andaz Hadoti (Karwar). Additionally, performances by Rajendra Panwar (Kota), Hariprasad Hari (Teerath), and Deepesh Suman (Suwasa) will add to the cultural depth of this Virat gathering.
The Kavi Sammelan segment features a stellar lineup of renowned artists. Anil Agravanshi, an International Hasya poet, will lead the event as the Sanchalak and coordinator. Joining him is Gaurav Chauhan, the famous Hasya poet known for “Lapete Mein Netaji.” The stage will also be graced by the powerful Oaj poetry of Mohit Shaurya from Ghaziabad and Upendra Pandey from Delhi.
