The city of Unnao is set to host the prestigious Sahitya Bharti Kavi Sammelan evam Samman Samaroh to celebrate the 24th anniversary of Sahitya Bharti (established in 1993). For the first time in the history of Unnao, attendees can enjoy the Sammelan via a large LED wall. The event features the legendary Padmashri Surendra Sharma (Delhi) and the melodious Mumtaz Naseem (Aligarh). Other notable poets participating include Farrukh Saral, Aasish Anal, Akhilesh Mishra, Priyanshu Gajendra, Asrar Kanpuri, Mamta Sharma, and Chirag Jain. This grand Samaroh will take place on April 22, 2017 (Saturday) at Kamla Maidan, Unnao. The program is scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM. The event includes the “Sahitya Bharti Alankaran” honors presented to the invited literary figures.
