The city of Thane is set to host a grand literary celebration, the Rashtriya Kavi Sammelan 2026, organized by the Rashtrabhasha Vichar Manch and Rajasthani Seva Samiti. This prestigious Samaroh will take place on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Natyagruha. The evening promises a powerful display of Veer Ras and Hasya poetry, bringing together renowned literary figures and senior officials from across the country.
The invited Kavigan include the celebrated Shri Vineet Chauhan (Alwar) and Shri Ram Bhadawar (Etah), both known for their stirring Veer Ras compositions. Adding a touch of melody and humor are Sushri Poonam Verma (Mathura), Shri Govind Rathi (Indore), Shri Heeraman Vaishnav (Chhattisgarh), and Shri Sanjay Bansal (Bhiwani). The Sanchalan of the stage will be handled by the acclaimed “Manch Samrat” Dr. Shri Pravin Shukla from Delhi.
The event is coordinated by Adv. Darmiyan Singh Bisht and Shri Arun Joshi, under the inspiration of the late Adv. B.L. Sharma. The program is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM.
